What is an exclusive carriage wine tour?
Our exclusive carriage range comprises of several luxury carriages from the Edwardian and Victorian era of history with comfortable seating and optional open or closed top options to enjoy beautiful Hunter Valley days however you like. You will feel like a character from pride and prejudice as you travel by journeys once reserved for the wealthy and influential.
What is included?
Our Exclusive Carriage Wine Tours are an all inclusive charter including wine, cheese and chocolate tasting experiences, on board sparkly and a cheese platter. Full day options also include lunch as either a gourmet picnic in the vines or restaurant option. Just turn up and we take care of everything!
What will happen on the day?
On the day of your tour you will meet your Carriage at our customer collection point nearby Hunter Valley Gardens if you have booked a transfer with us the transfer details will be provided prior to your tour date. Your tour will begin with a safety briefing and an overview of the tour. You will visit between 1-5 wineries depending on the length of tour you have chartered followed by Cheese and Chocolate tasting. You will enjoy chilled sparkling wine and a local cheese board as you meander throughout the beautiful Hunter Valley Wine Country. A picturesque gourmet picnic lunch in the vines or restaurant lunch lunch is included in our full day options. At the end of your tour your driver will return you to your customer collection point.
Are there upgrade options?
Yes, you can upgrade to our silver, gold and even platinum level tasting packages. Just add on the option during booking. We also offer a lunch upgrade to a two course set menu at an exclusive dining restaurant or french high tea experience.
Can we take groups larger than 4-6 on Exclusive Carriage Charters?
Yes! If you have a larger group who all wish to take the Exclusive Carriage option we simply send our more carriages for you. The group will travel together side by side in different carriages from our exclusive fleet. We can accommodate group sizes of up to 12-18 for this option.
Do we have proposal options?
Yes we do Proposals are our specialty! If you are thinking of popping the question nothing says romance like a horse and carriage. We have several proposal packages to make your proposal unique and special. Simply contact one of our friendly team to assist with the planning after you book your charter date.
How many locations will we visit?
Our Exclusive range of tours is all about you! You choose the pace and relax and enjoy without being rushed for time. That said an average tasting takes approximately 45 minutes if your loving the location and choose to stay longer it may mean we visit less wineries throughout the day.
What wineries will we visit?
In our Exclusive range we will take you to experience the boutique and unique side of the Hunter Valley Wine Country. This includes exclusive wine tastings, opportunities to meet with the winemaker at some locations and being introduced to new wines and new varietals.

Our Romantic Exclusive Couples Charters and Wine Tours are designed for romance and luxury and provide relaxing and enjoyable experiences for couples in the beautiful and picturesque surrounds of the Hunter Valley wine country. We take care of everything in our all inclusive packages including 3-4 wineries with cheese and chocolate tasting, a Restaurant or Gourmet Picnic Lunch in the Vines and a Bottle of Chilled Sparkly on board and a cheese platter to enjoy along the way. Not a wine drinker we can switch your stops for beer and spirit tastings or see our scenic charters for two including High Tea!
