What happens if it rains?
We continue in the case of light rain though we may cancel if the rain becomes heavy or an issue of safety.
What if the weather becomes too hot?
This is an outdoor activity involving our beloved equine team. In the case of extreme heat we may cancel or reschedule activity. While we try to ensure minimal disruption to our services, we asses conditions for the safety of everyone, including our horses, we appreciate your understanding of the steps necessary to continue to bring you this amazing experience in a sustainable and ethical way.
What happens in the case of cancellation?
We provide refunds in line with Australian Consumer Law and in line with our Terms and Conditions. We also try and be as flexible as possible and asses cancellations on a case by case basis, in most cases we will provide a credit so you can come back and see us another time.
What should we expect on the day?
You should arrive to our customer collection point outlined in your confirmation email approximately 5 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Although we try to keep the schedule the time allotted is a rough estimate and it is difficult to run this activity to an absolutely precise schedule. You should allow some additional time around your experience to allow for brief delays.
Are our horses cared for?
Absolutely, we are industry leaders with more than 50 years experience. We are the first carriage business in Australia to offer a 100% commitment to animal welfare and modernizing the industry, so that both you and our team can enjoy the experience. This may mean our prices are not 'bargain basement cheap' though we want you to know by paying a little more our horses can enjoy a less demanding schedule and an enjoyable lifestyle.
Is it safe?
At our company, safety is our utmost priority. Our horses undergo extensive training for over 8 years using positive reinforcement techniques. They are well-versed in navigating the roadways of NSW and are confident in their duties. Similarly, our senior leadership team brings a combined experience of 80 years in driving. That said like any activity involving risk, things can go wrong, however we are 30 years incident free which we accredit to our unwavering commitment to our safety practices. We recognize that in today's world, it's possible for individuals to acquire horse carriages, hot air balloons, or speed boats for use in the tourism industry without proper training or experience. That's why we encourage our valued customers to ask questions and seek transparent, validated responses when engaging in any activities that involve potential risks. We believe in ensuring that your journey is entrusted to seasoned professionals who manage to prioritize your safety above all else.
Can I travel if I have health or accessibility issues?
Yes, though we recommend if you are not sure if this activity will impact any existing health issue you have that you should check with a medical professional prior to travelling with us. Most of our Carriages are accessible, if your unsure or have specific needs please reach out to our team prior to your experience and we will do our best to accommodate any requests.
